The Applied Geodesy group at DESY is responsible for aquisition, supervision and supply of all geographic and georeferenced data. Our field of work includes:

• Assistance in accelerator and experimental planning
• Survey and alignment of all sorts of new components
• Geodetic monitoring and alignment of existing accelerators and experiments
• Setup and maintenance of geographical information systems for buildings, infrastructure and accelerators
• Design and development of measurement concepts for future accelerators
